MOvMNT Dance Company is a Contemporary and Hip-Hop Performance based Company founded by Cedar Rapids native Lovar Davis Kidd in August of 2007.
MOvMNT Dance Company is split into two companies; Youth (6-12 years of age), and Pre-Professional (13 & Up).
Rehearsal and Class Schedule:
Sundays (Theatre Cedar Rapids 102 3rd St SE)
- 1-1:45 PM (Beginner for ages 6-12)
- 1:45-3 PM (Youth company rehearsal)
- 3-4:20 PM (Int./Advanced for ages 13 & Up)
- 4:30-7 PM (Pre-professional company rehearsal)
Current MDC members come from Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Fort Dodge and Mason City. Company members perform throughout the Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and Quad Cities areas, and are available to travel throughout the US.
