MOvMNT Dance Company is a Contemporary and Hip-Hop Performance based Company founded by Cedar Rapids native Lovar Davis Kidd in August of 2007.
MOvMNT Dance Company is split into two companies; Junior (13-17 years of age), and Adult (18 & Up).
Rehearsal and Class Schedule:
Sundays (Theatre Cedar Rapids 102 3rd St SE)
- Company Class- 3-4 PM (Int./Advanced). Company classes will rotate each week beginning with Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Specialty Classes (Latin Jazz, Tap, Break Dancing, etc)
- Junior & Adult Company Rehearsal- 4-7 PM
Current MDC members come from Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Fort Dodge and Mason City. Company members perform throughout the Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and Quad Cities areas, and are available to travel throughout the US.
